Greetings in the name of Jesus! The Name above all names. I hope you had a wonderful time of Thanksgiving with those you love. I want you to know that I am thankful for you and your encouragement in ministry.
When I began traveling in solo music ministry six years ago, I could not have imagined all the places God would use me. It is truly an honor to serve Him by sharing the Love of Jesus through the gift of music. Many of you have heard my testimony and know that it was a song that spoke to my heart at the age of 13, and I gave my life to the Lord. My heart is full when I see God use the music I sing to speak to someone else.
Music ministry is now a full-time endeavor for me. Three years ago, I left a steady job in the secular music business to follow God's plan for me. As you can imagine, this meant quite a change for our family, but God has been nothing less than faithful. Nothing is more rewarding than following God's plan.
Last year, Lindsay Huggins Ministries was formed and is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. That means when you make in-kind donations, they are completely tax-deductible to you! As we approach the new year, the ministry calendar is always slim the first couple of months. Your gifts are so valuable.
Let me share a story with you.
I once sang at a very small country church, with not many in attendance. A love offering was being received for me that morning, and honestly, I didn't expect much. (Oh ME of little faith!) The pastor handed me a stash of money after service and we left. Later that day, I opened it up to find a personal check from one of the congregants, for an amount that was MORE than I expected from the entire crowd that morning. I was so surprised by her generosity (and God's goodness), that I called the phone number on her check on Monday morning. I wanted to say "Thank you" and "Are you sure you meant to write it for THAT much?". She said absolutely, that was what she intended. She went on to say she believed in me and this ministry. I have to tell you, I cried while listening to her speak those words of affirmation to me on the phone. You see, I was feeling a little discouraged and God used her and her gift to spur me along that day.
Maybe you can't give hundreds. Honestly, donations like that are few and far between. But when you give even a seemingly small amount, it helps put gas in the tank to take the message of Jesus to someone who needs to be encouraged. It helps us save to produce the next CD that so many of you have told me lifts you up on your morning drive to work. It lets us build a nest egg for the slim months when the schedule is empty. And it's affirmation from the Lord through you, that this music ministry is making a difference.
You've likely heard of Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday. Today is Giving Tuesday. Would you pray about making a generous year-end, tax-deductible contribution to Lindsay Huggins Ministries?

You and I may not see the fruitful evidence of our service and investments until we meet in Heaven. If just one person comes to know Jesus through the music I share, it will be worth it all!
Thank you again for your love and support. My family and I wish you a wonderful Christmas season!
